Last weekend we had two sell out events. Friday saw the love of our life and yours…The Bob Ross Happy Little Paint Along 2.0 back in our main room. You brought the artistic flair and we loved it, as always. The next one has already sold out but keep an eye out for new dates!

Saturday Louis Dunford rolled into town on his sold out acoustic tour. The storyteller from North London played new songs from his forthcoming debut album along with the viral hit “The Angel – North London Forever”. We’re sure you enjoyed this intimate show.

While we are talking about sold out shows, The Hunna are on the horizon and selling fast. They’ll be joining us at the end of June (28th) and tickets are selling fast. If you want to hear Jelly classics like “Bonfire” and “ She’s Casual” live in their natural habitat of our main room then be quick! Tickets available now from our website.

While you’re there we have a few other shows selling fast that we expect to be a sell out or close! Legends Arrested Development will be passing through The Welly in July (23rd). It’s an honour for us to have a group that was at the forefront of the birth of Hip-hop, so come and see music royalty up close and personal. In October (25th) we have Hull favourites Skinny Living and November (8th) sees The Clause fresh off the back of supporting The K’s on their sold out tour!

We also have two new shows that have just been announced. Lightning Seeds will be playing Welly in December (Wed 4th) bringing their greatest hits tour to the city! Obviously demand will be very high for this one so head over to our website to secure tickets!

Our second announcement is frequent Hull frequenters, The Lovely Eggs. They will be bringing their unique sound here in October (Sat 19th). Their fuzzed out songs are firmly set in the hum drum of everyday life but the normality gets flipped on its head and passed through their surreal mincing machine. They are a firm favourite on the underground scene and a must see live band.
